ACCTEK ASSIST Includes the following services:

On Going Telephone Assistance:

  • Unlimited telephone, fax and email assistance in the areas specified below.
  • Acctek ASSIST will be accessible between 9.00 am and 5 pm EST Systems administration advice Advice on running Pastel under Windows 2000, XP and 2004.

However we do not have in depth knowledge of Novell and will need to work with your Novell CNE). The following areas of telephone assistance are covered by ASSIST

  • Pastel Installation advice
  • Setting up new users in your operating system
  • Setting up printers and fonts
  • Setting up backup & restore functions
  • Sharing files and devices, mapping drives, checking access rights Processing advice and problem solving
  • Creating customers, suppliers, stock, GL codes
  • Processing documents, journals, cash books, stock journals
  • Running any reports
  • Advice on bank reconciliations
  • Advice on Stock counts
  • Advice on foreign currency
  • Any other processing within Pastel Partner or Payroll Updates
  • Telephone help with downloading, installing and configuring updates.

Items not Included:

The following functions are not included. If required they will need to be charged separately:

  • Any on site work requested for any reason, including program malfunction. However ASSIST customers will receive a 10% discount on the prevailing Acctek price list for on site consulting.
  • Doing bank reconciliation (other than advice on how to do it)
  • Doing forms design
  • Data capture, electronic or manual
  • Rectifying corrupt records

Information emails

Periodical emails containing details of latest "releasable" update versions and other useful information relevant to Pastel users. DISCOUNT ON ON-SITE CONSULTING Users with paid up Acctek ASSIST agreements will get a discount of 10% on normal on-site consulting rates.

Note: We do not guarantee that software covered by Acctek ASSIST is free from errors. Any such errors that may occur are outside Acctek's control. We do undertake however to do everything within our capability to ensure that the consequences of any errors are speedily and effectively rectified.
